Established in 1982.

Serving San Diego and Chula Vista for over 30 years, Burdick's Sewing & Vacuum Center is a one-stop shop for sewing machine & vacuum sales and repairs, and sewing instruction. We carry Viking, Elna, and Babylock embroidery and overlock machines. In our vacuum cleaner line we have Royal, Panasonic, oreck and Eureka. We have a full line of sewing machine notions and vacuum supplies.  Our policy on repairs is one-day service whenever possible.  We offer free hands on sewing machine classes with the purchase of a machine. Classes are Wednesday and Saturday.  We are conveniently located at 278 Third Ave., Chula Vista, CA 91910 and are open 7 days a week.  Monday through Friday  9:30-5:30, Saturday  9:30-3:30 and  Sunday 12:00-3:00. (The short day is Don's day!)

Don Burdick started on Third Ave at The Singer Store  in 1957. Don started his own business, Burdick's Sewing and Vacuum Center, in 1983 where we sell the best and service the rest. Burdick's Sewing & Vacuum Center is a family owned business. Now with wife, Joan, and son, Darren, we sell Husqvarna, a Swedish company for sewing, embroidery and overlock machines up to 5 thread's.
