History

Established in 1963.

My dad , Bob McElligott Sr., moved to San Jose  form Chicago in 1958. He started out at what was called Miller's Appliances, became service manager and soon opened up McElligott.s Appliances.  He sold washers and dryers at the San Jose Flea Market for 27 years. As the business grew he soon expanded to three buildings.  He retired in 1997, I took over, discovered Craigslist and Yelp.  Business has been better than ever.  I love what I do and look forward to servicing the South Bay for many more years.  Bob McElligott Jr.
