History

Established in 1913.

We are in our 3rd generation of family ownership. The business started in 1913 when Joe Novak and Robert Parker were performing electrical service to the Park Ridge Illinois community on their bicycles and moved into a store in 1915.
Robert Parker sold his share of the Company during the depression of WWII in which the second owner Robert Novak was campaigning for in the Navy.
Robert Novak was the second generation owner for early 1950's to 1996 when the third generation Dan Novak purchased the shares and in now currently operating the business.

I am very excited and proud to be part of a company with so much tradition. It is a very uncommon feat for a small business to be established this long and I look forward to maintaining the quality business practices that have brought us thus far.

I grew up and currently reside in Mount Prospect, received my education at Prospect High School and graduated with a BS in Marketing from Winona State University Minnesota.
I had purchased the shares of Novak and Parker in 1996 of which I am still the active owner and president of the company.
I enjoy golf with friends and water and snow skiing with the family. I have been married to my wife for twelve years and have three children together.
