Richard's Appliance Repairs is a factory authorized servicer for LG kitchen and laundry appliances for the home.  We try to carry most LG replacement parts on our van to quickly service your LG appliance needs.

We can also service most high end outdoor BBQ grills.

But the most important specialty we offer is that we will work around your schedule.  Late afternoon and weekend appointments are available on a limited basis.  We offer 2 hour time frame windows with every appointment so you're not stuck at home all day waiting for our arrival.

We can also help with most DIYer's who want to try their hand at fixing their own appliances over the phone for free.  Sometimes just a little boost of confidence is needed to get it done right.  That's what I'm here for.

Areas of service:  Contra Costa Central County, Alameda County and the Tri Valley Area.  

Service Call charges are $80.00 to diagnose your appliance problem.  Once we figure out what's wrong, we can give you a flat rate estimate to repair the unit.  
It will be the service call charge
+ the labor to repair the unit
+ parts if any are needed.

We don't charge by the hour because we want you, our customer, to know up front what is the total cost of the repair without worry.  We take personal responsibility and ownership of every repair we do to ensure that you are satisfied.

We now accept most major credit cards.

History

Established in 2004.

Originally, I wanted to be an auto mechanic in my early twenty something years because I love to work with my hands.  But my first appliance repair job was my mother's old Avocado Green Maytag washer.  I didn't know what I was doing or what I was looking for but I took it apart and fixed it.  Afterwards, my mother gave me the biggest hug and the most delicious dinner meal.  That sealed my future.  

I've been doing this kind of work for about 35 years and the most enjoyable part of the job is when the customer is smiling happily knowing that the job is finished and the appliance is working normally.  My motto is: "I'm here to help, that's my job."

I always strive for the best and to make sure that the people I serve are taken care of.  I sleep better at nights knowing that their problem is resolved and their life is back to normal.  And those 5 stars from all of my customers are a result of my attitude and work ethics.

I was born and raised in San Francisco.  Married and finished raising 2 daughters.  When people first see me, they think OMG, I thought you were a white person because of the way I converse over the phone.

Love God, life, family and friends that surround me with their love.  My other motto is, "Life is too short to be boring!"  And so that is why I have fun in this business.  So don't be afraid to call.  I'm here to help.
