Valley Oak Appliance is a full-service appliance company, serving the greater Sacramento area.   We offer parts and service for all major brands.   We provide manufacturer warranty work for most major brands.  We offer over-the-counter assistance for the "do-it-yourselfer".

Our appliance gallery features Bosch, Whirlpool, Kitchenaid, Jenn-Air, Maytag, Amana, Fisher Paykel, U-Line, Broan, Speed Queen, Vent-A-Hood, Danby and DCS appliances.  We have our own professional in-house installation team.  We provide an install assessment so you only buy what will fit for you.  We also do custom installations.

We also offer reconditioned appliances.  We have a used and scratch and dent area with deep discounts.  Whatever your appliance needs may be - we can help!

History

Established in 1990.

Valley Oak Appliance is also known as Elk Grove Appliance Service.  We opened for business in August, 1990.  We opened Valley Oak Maytag Home Appliance in 1994.  With the acquisition of Maytag by Whirlpool, we became a full-service, multi-line servicer and dealer in 2007.  

We are a family-owned business.  We are active in our community through the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce and Elk Grove Rotary Club, and are supporters of many community organizations.

Valley Oak Appliance (aka Elk Grove Appliance) was started by Jean Hawkins in 1990 as a service company out of her home.  In 1994 Jean was approached by Maytag to be a full service appliance dealer.  In 2007 Whirlpool, Kitchenaid, Bosch, Fisher Paykel, DCS, Uline, Broan, Speed Queen and Vent A Hood was added to the brands Valley Oak offers.  It has always been very important to Jean to be a unique appliance dealer that can help you with all of your appliance needs. It is what sets Valley Oak apart from the others.  Valley Oak is a family business owned by Jean Hawkins and managed by her son Tim Hawkins and his wife Kathy.  Now years later Jean still comes in to the store everyday.  She is very active in the community, Church, Rotary and the Chamber.  Her business motto is simple:  Be honest, give the facts and treat people the way you would want to be treated.  A true testiment of a business that has long term loyal employess and in business for over 20 years.
