History

Established in 1931.

To survive in a very competitive industry a business must be able to adjust and develop with the times. Young's has been adjusting for over 85 years, but one thing that doesn't need adjusting is Great Customer Service.
Originally a small appliance, radio, record and sheet music business, Young's has redesigned the business to the needs of the community. Now specializing in custom kitchen appliances, home laundry and water filtration. In addition to offering the best products with the most consumer satisfaction, Young's has exceptional relationships with their suppliers which translates into better overall service for our customers.

Doug came to Young's Appliances in 1984, having coached and taught at the high school and college level for 9 years, on an invite from his Father In Law Larry Young.  Doug's background in education made a perfect transition into sales and management in the appliance retail and service profession. Doug feels that his job is to educate the customer on the many features and complexity of today's modern appliances. His skills as a coach also add to the development of a well trained and professional sales, service and installation team that has earned many awards and the respect of thousands of satisfied customers.
